ABSTRACT_The evolutive features of human interaction within the natural environment have slowlymolded human behavior. These primitive templates generated, in a social dimension, the surfacing of feelings to theconsciousness and gradually of the language. Neuroscience sheds light on the mechanism through whicharchitecture has been a crucial shift in the cognitive enhancement of Humans. Deprived of this context, we can notfully get Embodied, Extended, Embedded, and Enacted Cognition. The book clarifies how the architecture's inceptionis a transition from the natural settings, those that would have inextricably coupled bodies and actions, from the HomoErectus phase.Nowadays, technologies and architectures humans developed, along with cultural and socialtransformations, particularly in the last two centuries, modified cities without sufficient awareness of the fundamentalrole played by the environment in human evolution. Our urban ambiance, and the environmental crisis, are the resultof this forgetting. Now, human sciences can now underpin a new way to conceive human-centered design approach.
